Chivalry is dead! Good. Bury it. Because in a world of equals, where women and men are no longer stupidly stratified by their sexuality, where people treat people with dignity and respect and kindness and love there is no need for it. There is no need for this fallacious romanticism. Humans are humans and we ought to treat each other accordingly, regardless of sex or age; of orientation or race. So, move aside chivalry and allow me to give my coat to, pick up the tab for and, hold the door for any/every/some body.
